They don't just work alongside them though..they are all in it together, do your research, the fury's choose whom they want to work with, they are much more than "work colleagues" You are clutching at straws and badly failing. Again this has nothing whatsoever to do with race, it's a very weak argument. IMO this has less to do with Joshua and more to do with the hearns and matchroom (they are white BTW)
Mate, just ignore blobby nelson, he's just a mong who just posts for the sake of starting arguments/being controversial. Obviously trying to compensate for his sad mundane average existence.
Peter Fury is right about the racism, the English prefer dope dealing blacks to Irish travellers it seems, and that goes right to the top of the tree.
Good grief. Joshua made a mistake. Not the first and wont be the last boxer or human being to commit a criminal act. FFS wasn't Fury's dad banged up for 11 years. People need to stop taking some sort of moral high ground and trying to define Anthony Joshua by what happened years ago.
The press conference was an embarrassment. First tyson claims he won't ever get a decision in Germany... Then he says 'I told you wlad was no good' quickly followed by 'you don't unify the belts and dominate for 10 years like wlad if you're no good' Tyson has also moaned when people bring up his uncles drug dealing past but then is the first to do it to AJ. Then his father demands that tyson should be on comedy panel shows and the media should be putting him on billboards...for what reason exactly? The guy doesn't understand a thing about marketing or the fact PR people do all that. They are both utter morons and come across as bitter and jealous, especially in regards to Lennox and joshua. On the other hand peter and hughie come across really well.
Furys dad gouged another mans eyes out after an argument over a bottle of beer. Peter fury ran a meth empire. Makes me laugh how fury fans constantly bring up AJ having dealt some weed yet fail to mention the above.
it wasnt over a bottle of beer. fury has done his time and admits to his failings in the past and no one has ever gave him a free pass on his past.
Obviously, the main difference is that Joshua is portrayed as a "good guy" who done himself proud by dedicating himself to boxing. Fury, whose accomplishments as a professional boxer put Joshua's to shame (and will still, EVEN IF Fury loses to Wlad in the rematch) is portrayed as scum.
Fury didn't deal any dope, but he ain't going to be doing any tv ads like Joshua. Why is that when he's the only legit champ?
i dont know, maybe fury should have dealt drugs. if joshua is a role model and getting such hype maybe all our children should be inspired to sell drugs as it clearly helps your career
The media and corporate land like a redemption story with an ethnic twist, good role model for those oppressed inner city gang banging kids; bad boy done good, and as long as he nods and plays ball he'll get the cash flow. Fury is a pikey bastad to these same enablers. They can afford some casual racism in his direction and stay clean. He will not be seen as a good poster boy for their ad campaigns even if he KO's Wlad. Fury is going to have to beat Joshua in the ring or he will be the defacto British #2 hw in all but name.
