There was a time when a British Heavyweight World Champion would be mega celebrated !

You have to commend AJ in his post-fight interview. He himself wouldn't refer to himself as a "world champion". Charles Martin wouldn't even be British champ if he fought over here.

 

Mike Tyson was unbeatable.. for a certain period of time..

 

Your objection to race hate would carry a bit more credibility if you never then expressed class hate. Why do you find one abhorrent and one perfectly acceptable??

 

He is not the heavy weight champion- Fury is.

I don't like AJ because he is a fake, media trained non personality.
He hits folk after the bell, on the ground and after the ref shouts "break". He has a drug dealing past and his weight gain is highly suspect, yet Matchroom and Sky present him as some kind of angelic figure. It's media manipulation of the highest order and shows how thick they believe the general public to be.

 

Kind of misses the point that he inherited the strap because the IBF stripped Fury and did not allow him to make a defence.

Also kind of misses the point that Martin laid down for him, and was not a proven top 10 HW deserving of the world title..which again raises questions about why the IBF stripped Fury in the first place.

 

Very very true. It Just doesn't feel like a well gusty well earnt win. Just came too easy. Lets face it the belt was handed on a plate when Fury was stripped. Martin just happened to pick it out of the trash can. Easy pickings for Joshua.
