Its funny you made a thread because Martin is trolling you
He only came for the £3 million so why are you reading into his excuses like they are real

That was a pathetic performance by him. I heard he received a 5 million pound payday?? That's incredible money for an unproven fighter. Joshua must hold a lot of clout (monetarily speaking,) in the UK.

Cool, sounds very authentic which is just how I'd like it to be.

 I wonder if any Romanians have ever been killed by bears in America. lol

I like the idea of living somewhere where there are wild bears and wolves roaming about.

 Oh dear. Sounds like you were safer around the wolves and the bears. lol

Terrible excuses form a terrible fighter who gave a terrible performance. But in a way he was right, mentally he wasn't there, you could see when the ref was giving them instructions Martin wouldn't look at Joshua at all, he was looking everywhere but Joshua. He was clearly intimidated and had lost the fight mentally before the bell rung, so in a way Martin is correct it wasn't his usual self in there, but in reality it wouldn't of made a difference, the gulf in ability is huge, even if Martin had been some how deluded himself into believing he could win, all that would have done was maybe get himself KO'ed even sooner.

This guy will never have a big fight in his career again and he is the worse Heavyweight champion I have ever seen.

I don't know, if Wilder gets past Povetkin he'd be just the kind of fighter Wilder would look to make an easy defence against. But barring that I think it's unlikely we see Martin do much. He'll probably end up like Leapai, will get matched up against a couple of prospects or fringe contenders and get beaten and then forgotten.

What's he supposed to say? "Sorry, I'm just a fraction of the fighter Joshua is?" He's a proud guy, as most high level boxers are, few straight up admit they are outclassed, at least he didn't blame his toe. Jeez, keyboard warrior, how about you hop into the ring with Joshua (or Martin).

Martin's a fringe contender level guy who got shelled into oblivion by a better fighter. It happens sometimes, doesn't make him a bad human being or even a bad boxer. He'd still beat over 99.999% of all human beings in the ring, I think that's deserving of some respect.

I like Joshua, but remain objective about him. He's fun to watch. What are you talking about?

Joshua should care that he beat a bum for the title, and if Martin fights again, his bum status will rise.

That ref gave him more than enough chance to get off the floor the 2nd time, he knew what he was doing. He wasnt distracted while the ref had 8 then 9 then 10 fingers in his face.

I'm talking about your prime directive at even this early stage being to accent the weakness of Joshua's opposition, a pattern that, based upon your actions where black heavyweights are concerned on this forum so far, will be maintained until you die.

You guys that have never stepped inside a boxing ring have no right to diss Martin. He was in the title fight with Glaskov as an OPPONENT he wasn't supposed to win. He hit the jackpot due to Glaskov's injury & was named World Champ. He could have fought a couple of Journeymen first before the $$$ fight with Joshua but he didn't. He stepped up , travelled to London Joshua's home town, & put it all on the line. He froze plain & simple, he just was not ready for the big time & got destroyed.
As my old coach used to say if he heard someone call a fighter a BUM'
" Could you beat that man"?? " If not you have no right calling him a bum"
I wish Charles Martin good luck in his future career

Martin made the most of his good fortune. You call the IBF crooks & frauds but support the WBC crooks in their corruption allowing Canelo to make a mockery of the title
I didn't see anyone complaining when Cotto stole the WBC title from a crippled Sergio Martinez :patsch
