Maybe Cotto gave Brook a lowball offer, but I doubt Brook would turn down a Cotto fight. It`s the perfect opportunity for him. I think he matches up well against a past prime Cotto, and it would give him huge worldwide exposure. Then win and he`d be chased by a lot other contenders and could demand bigger purses.

Look I use to support Brook. I believed he was hard done by and unlucky to not be getting enough credit. But the amount of pull outs when he's had ample opportunity to fight decent opponents is unacceptable.

He's run out of excuses, he's pulled out of too many legit fights and opted to instead fight cripples and men who have no right to be lacing up gloves.

I'll tell you what's gonna happen - Him and Hearn are going to be throwing around some big names like ''Brook wants Manny'' We're trying for Bradley'' 'Garcia, Broner are options''.

After getting a few of his fans hopes up he'll then some pitiful excuse and he'll find a reason to fight some durable sorry excuse of a glorified bum like Liam Smith who will have no right to be in the ring with Brook but many of his fanboys will look at his unbeaten record and think he's a live opponent.

Then we'll be on the verge of witnessing another Nick Blackwell situation, where Smith will just serve to be another walking foward punchbag for Brook to have practice target on in front of a Sheffield Crowd who will think he's some ATG for blasting him out. Then everyone will start acting suprised and crying for boxing to change and protect the fighters, when the reality is, the mismatches are what need to stop.

That`s way more believable. Not only does Brook have no reason to avoid Cotto, but Cotto has every reason to avoid Brook, who`s high risk but low reward in terms of name recognition at this stage of Cotto`s career.
