when ward came back...he had only fought paul smith...and was still in the top 5(or just outside) of every major p4p list out there.....wards skills warrant that.....its not like ward just forgot how to box and was 38 when he came back....
he shouldn't be on any top 5 p4p list though. In terms of ability / potential then maybe but he's done nothing in the ring to be ranked highly since he beat froch around 5 years ago.
ring mag...espn...all recognize ward as a top 4 p4p fighter if hes done nothing to warrant this...what has ggg done to warrant his ranking besides feast on nobodies lets say for the last 5 years ward had been fighting gggs resume...or level of resume....you guys would be crying bloody murder....at least ward has done SOMETHING noteworthy in his career

macklin was well ranked and should have been champ as he was blatantly robbed by sturm, murray was jobbed by martinez and were both demolished by GGG, lemieux was ibf champ too. GGG's resume could look alot better if he didn't get ducked by martinez / cotto/ canelo too. If ward doesn't beat kovelov he's done nothing to deserve being p4p, at present he's no1 at 172. Wards got the advantage of being the best USA fighter, if he was french for example i doubt he'd be anywhere near ring / Espn p4p lists based on his recent accomplishments.
If he beat Brook and the winner of Thurman-Porter he should be ranked pretty high. But that's a huge if especially for Brook who is damn good fighter himself. I just wanna see them fight each other they are all good fighters.

go check the ring mag rating..and espn ratings.... he is CURRENTLY(that means right now) in the top 4 on both lists.....do u want me to spell it out for you?!?!(i might have to seeing as how you can barely comprehend anything im saying)
