With Garcia likely not coming to the UK, and probably holding off to fight Floyd, Bradley coming off a loss to Pac, Thurman/Porter both busy, has Brook realistically got any chance of a decent opponent in the summer?

I think he'll end up fighting some later in the year as I just don't think he's a big enough name to get any traction from the big boys at 147.....

I suppose that's what happens when you fight bums throughout your career, and are unwilling to travel

Hearn said yesterday on twitter there was 'big news'.

I'm willing to bet it's Vargas

    the ibf rankings are

    1. not rated
    2. errol spence
    3. Konstantin Ponomarev
    4. Lamont Peterson
    5. Jeff Horn
    6. Dmitrii Mikhailenko
    7. Sammy Vazquez
    8. Omar Figueroa
    9. Bradley Skeete
    10. Rico Muller
    11. Kevin Bizier
    12. Christopher Algieri
    13. Fredrick Lawson
    14. Ruslan Provodnikov
    15. Viktor Plotnikov

Errol spence and Konstantin Ponomarev are tied up in a final eliminator

Jeff Horn is fighting Randell Bailey

Mikhailenko has a fight lined up

    Bizier has already been faced

Algerari is coming off a loss

    Lawson was stopped by bizier

ruslan has a fight lined up

Viktor Plotnikov recently lost to horn

that leaves Peterson, Vazquez, Figeroa, Skeete and Muller

Peterson i doubt would come to the UK ,same with figeroa and Vazquez is a big prospect so i doubt he would either

that leaves Skeete and Muller. Muller is completely useless and even the casuals would see it as a joke

so that leaves Skeete. Skeete will be his next fight. big domestic dust up as hearn will say between the talented and ackward skeete ect ect ect

I like the Vargas fight, if Brook unifies then hopefully he will get a bit more recognition in the US

Showered with references to Brook going over to the feared Shawn Porters back yard and taking the belt...

Great performance, but that is what, 2 years ago now? Time for Brook to fight someone of note.

It's certainly a step up. Wouldn't quite say he's a superstar at all but it's a decent fight

I'd say the loss for Bradley has done more for Brooks chances of facing him that a win would have done.

Peterson wouldn't be a bad fight to take.

I am past caring about Brook and his non fights.

Looking at those ranking I want Brook to fight Jeff Horn for the comedy value, hearing Brook say "Horn" in his soft girly accent will make me laugh.
