Funny enough, this is something I was mulling over recently. All this talk, like its a given for Canelo to face GGG after a win. The perfect get out would be to take a L from Khan. That way he does not have to officially vacate anything. He can say, look, I didn't cherry pick an easy fight - I actually lost. It is a way he can save face. He can take some pitty patty feather fisted punches from Khan and orchestrate some exchanges too....
Hell no he wont. He would lose far more credibility losing to a blown up welterweight than he would dumping his belt (if he drops the belt he has plenty of bull**** excuses his fans will eat up, not a real mw, golovkin isn't a draw ect.)
