While I agree that he's entertaining to some extent and I'm not his hater, you have to admit that it doesn't look good for heavyweight boxing at all to have such a champion. First of all he's boring in the ring and for all his boasting didn't really deliver. He did win but before the fight he constantly boasted about knocking out Wladimir and all he did was pot-shot the entire fight. The press conferences are starting to look more and more like circus. He has some funny lines here and there but I don't really like him openly disrespecting boxing, saying that he doesn't care and so on. It looks more and more like he just wants to have some cash grab fights and leave boxing for good. He doesn't seem to be liked by the public at all, not even in his home country. Then there's his physique (he looks like a fat clown) the gif of him punching himself in the face and so on. His entire persona just can't be taken seriously and makes the heavyweight division look like a joke (while it's far from that in reality).
People do like Tyson Fury. He doesn't need to have the same robotic, non-witty personality as any other boxer. He gets full credit over what he does in the ring. He beat an all-time great at his own game. It doesn't matter how boring Fury is in the ring, the fact is, he has afforded himself the privilege like Mayweather did, because he was entertaining before entering the ring.
Fury's whole point of saying he was going to KO Wlad was to make Wlad think Fury was going to be aggressive Wlad probably spent 8 weeks preparing for an aggressive guy and then instead he gets schooled Why does Fury need to go for the KO thats on Wlad when he was 11 rounds down going into the 12th
The funny thing is, he doesn't seem to want to be liked. He was being held up for hours because loads of fans wanted his autograph after the Klit win, but then he goes on and on about nobody respecting his achievment and then disrespects hos country of birth. He has a bit of a victim complex, which is rather commonplace among 'travellers'. When he takes on Joshua I, and many others, will be on Joshua's side.
Fury is quite good to watch in the ring don't let the Wlad I fight fool you. Fury said before the fight he was going to rid Wlad of the sport and the best way to do that was to beat him at what he does best. Too many had tried to rush Wlad and bully him and they had been bested but Fury was more calculated and had a brilliant game plan. This game plan may not work in II so Fury may have to adapt and this fight could be more exciting
The people booed his ass when he bought that clown act in the ring after a Deontay Wilder fight, and rightly so. He is over the top with that BS.
How is Fury the most honest sportsman on the globe? He contradicts himself on everything and often just says some random **** to get attention. "wlad is no good ... if you're a champ for 10 years you must be good" "i'll retire ... i'll reign the HW division for a long time" "i only want to be the best boxer on the planet ... I hate boxing" "I want to fight Cain Velasquez in MMA .. I don't want to fight in MMA" I get that a lot of that is for promotion but that's the exact opposite of being honest and "real".
agree with all this except i will support fury. (not joshua's fault the british press are a joke, but the disrespect for tyson's actual world title win compared to the pathetic gushing over joshua's bull**** 'world title' win has me firmly on tyson's side)

I just don't see how he can be ready in 9 weeks. I suspect some manufactured injury that Haye was good at to give him another month.
