Do people think he's been serious when he says he wants to lose and wants to retire ect..
It's quite disappointing as a boxing fan when the world champion is pretty much saying he hates training, just does it for the money.
I'd love to see fury in the ring with wilder/povetkin and joshua and so on but I can't help think that one random day he's just gonna pack it all in for no good reason apart from because he can do what he wants.
I like Fury but this side of him since the klitschko win is annoying, he's already half made an excuse for losing saying he doesn't want it like he wanted it before

Does he have body image issues, AJ basically fat shamed him. Does he have genuine mental health issues? Or is he just trolling, clowning, playing the old mind games?

Who knows. I want him to win, but if WV puts on a show, it will be interesting to see how the young guns react. Will they be forming the same queue they did for Fury.

He has mental health issues. He's talked about it before, says he gets very depressed, has very extreme highs and lows. He's bi polar basically.

its just fury being fury, quite early on in camp he gets a bit like this, as the fight draws nearer he will be 100% ready to do the business and beat wlad easier this time

Whatever you say about him he makes you want to watch him which is good for his worth but the sad thing is that at times when he is normal he talks so much sense and is very intelligent for someone that is perceived as a knob head by the majority.

The question is how good would Fury be if he lived the life, was always motivated and on the game and just didn't get caught up in controversial quotes.

He just loves the attention, everything that comes out of his mouth you have to take with a pinch of salt.

Don't you worry, that big stiff idiot Wlad is getting knocked out in Manchester, whether Fury is 17 stone or 27 stone.

I reckon there's quite a lot of boxers who hate it.
Not a chance he wants to lose though - that's just **** !!!

I think vlad will pull the trigger this time !!!

I think his persona is a big reason why hes good in the ring.
His carefree loose outlook shows in the ring. Hes very unpredictable and unorthodox in there which makes him really tough to handle

He was definitely down and depressed during that interview.

The key thing is that he is motivated enough to get in shape and has the mindset to win.

This whole "I hope I lose" thing could just be him playing more mind games

I do think it was all about achieving the title, he never had dreams of defending it 25 times it was just winning the title. He has done that now and become rich doing it. He is the kind of person who will jack after one defeat
