Fury was a very decent amateur with a counterpunching style and unusually for the division and discipline, stopped almost everyone. He lost as a 17 (SEVENTEEN) year old to 24 year old 6'8.5 man David Price, but knocked him down heavily. Not bad for a kid vs an Olympian. Fury was always predicted to succeed even as an amateur.
I've seen the fight v Price. That scoreline is terrible. including the knockdown I had it very close.. Probably Price's experience just shaded it.. Tyson was very raw in that fight
