"Trash" that would murder you in the ring. It's a disgrace how supposed boxing fans **** on boxers. They're all professional athletes who mostly train almost their entire lives. Murray, Lemieux, Stevens and Macklin are top fighters by definition, unless there are only like 20 "top fighters" in entire boxing.

That wasn't my question. My question was, if they're complete trash, would Canelo put on a better performance than GGG against them? Meaning, knock them out earlier?

Canelo is not the bigger puncher, but I do think Canelo beats them all.. Just as pac did better jobs on some previous Floyd opponents, Floyd still beat Pac. And Canelo has a hell of a chance against GGG.

Who knows I used to box in high school was actually pretty good, sadly as a 16/17 yr old telling me I can't have *** during camp or go out to parties as a teen kind of made me have a career change. Actually regret it to this day looking at some paper champs come up I think I could of done decent enough.

Look bro in relation to a couch potato Murray is elite but compared to actual elite fighters he doesnt cut it. I think the correct term also isnt bum but journey men or club fighter.

In any sport your judged ultimately off what you do and accomplish.
If you can name me anything a Golovkin opponent has accomplished be my guest.

The post under this is the correct answer styles make fights Alvarez is a boxer counter puncher Golovkin a stalking boxer.
Where GGG is Power and movement
    Alvarez is Speed and defense.
I think out of all Murray lasts the distance Lemuiex and Stevens likely goes like Angulo and Kirkland respectively.

Yes, but Floyd vs Pac in primes would have been a different fight. Hard to guage considering Pacquiao had evolved into a completely different fighter after his knockout by Marquez.

Our life ban bet is still on, correct? I'm pretty sure I said if Canelo survives 9 rounds with GGG then I'll ban myself. Can't remember the exact bet, but I'd still love to do it with you if you're down.

Styles do make fights, I agree. I don't think Canelo would perform better against these opponents, even though to you they're complete trash. I'd personally favor Lemieux to beat Canelo by KO. But, if Canelo could survive the first four rounds, then his chances would increase exponentially.

That'd be a great matchup. Don't see it happening though, at least not before GGG. GBP wouldn't risk the financial earnings from a GGG fight by matching Canelo with Lemieux. Cuz even though you think he's trash, GBP knows that'd be too big of a risk to take before the megafight showdown.

Daniel Geale is a three time former middleweight champion. Definately an accomplishment

Martin Murray is a four time world championship challenger.
    Decent accomplishment

I agree with what you're saying, Golovkins resume isn't star studded and is not up to the standard you would hope from a 34 year old unified champion.....but people saying he feasts on complete bums are the casuals who only know the names of a handful of boxers.

Are you sure it was me you did a lifetime ban bet with? I might have said a month, but I don't do lifetime bets. I'll do a month ban bet if you want to take note of it somewhere, because I might forget.

Just imagine GGG wouldn't box. The same guys who criticize him would call it the strongest division. Guys like Jacobs and Quillin would be gods. Lemieux vs. N'Dam would become FOTY. Eubank Jr. would be the best prospect in boxing, hyped as ****. BJS would be the Middleweight Fury and Canelo surpass DLH.

Now they're all bums though .. lol. This is how good GGG is, he makes decent fighters look like nobodies. No one can beat him.

It's underrated if you call all fighters on his resume "bums" because Lemieux, Murray, Geale and Macklin aren't bums at all.

Oh sorry, I think it was actually acie2g. I'll do a bet for GGG/Canelo, as long as you are picking Canelo to win!

I'll even make it better for you. If Canelo makes it nine rounds then you automatically win. ;)
