Still has a opportunity for a big payday if he fights Pascal again in Montreal.

    :yep

    Sturm has no defensive ability.

He'd try to blitzkrieg a more confident Bute and eat the L UC.

    My prediction.....Bute KO4. :thumbsup

Bute might have won his last two fights.

Bute actually had a draw against DeGale, and a loss against Jack, in my eyes but both Degale and Jack deserved the win more, in the two very close fights. So I didn't mind calling them two losses.

Bute had a nice career, it's time to hang them up while he has his health. He wasn't as successful fighting elite fighters as fighting B class opponents but at least he had the ***** to make it happen, nothing to be ashamed of.

There's still fights out there for him.

Could easily go back up to 175 and fight Alvarez in Montreal for example

He'd KO the Superbiitch and without problem.

Except Beterbiev would be there next to take his soul away again.:shock::shock:

Adonis gets a lot of **** for his opponents, but I don't even think he'd fight a guy who has lost 3(really 4) of his last 6 fights

Oooooh I hope not. I kinda' have grown to like Bute after he got his ass kicked by Froch. I don't think he could take another such beating.

After Sturm gets stripped, take on Chudinov, that's a very winnable fight for Lucian.

I thought Bute pulled the Degale fight (he looked better than agains Jack in my opinion).

An old, past prime, past Froch Bute is giving the new lions a lot to think about. Degale didn't seem to thrilled when in the post fight interview if he would fight Degale-Jack winner. Degale's jaw dropped. Bute them said he would like to rematch both of them. Bute fought scared in both fights in the beginning (it is a post Froch Bute we are talking about) but he wouldn't from the start in a rematch. He still slowed down a lot I find.

Bute fought caoutious like he always used to and will always do. But thinking it over, if he doesn't fight that way he may eat up to much leather and there's the chance to get dropped later from fatigue or accumulated damage. That's why he goes all out in the later rounds, he feels how much damage he's taken and if can still do it 2-3 more rounds, how much power his opponent has , how much stamina he has left, and accelerates as much as he can.
The sad thing is tha Bute hasn't won a fight since ages ago(DiLuisa doesn't counts since no1 heard of him), even tho he had close fights with the top two guys in the division. And I havent seen him hurt an opponent like he used to.
He took haymakers from Pascal , Degale and Jack and keept on going and that makes me wish he would took more chances even at risk of geting KO'ed early or late, because he might have won few of those fights if he did so.

He could still fight a guy like Chavez Jr for a payday.
