Crolla late stoppage for me. Think barroso will put too much into the early rounds looking for the KO

Is this bloke Barroso injury-prone or often in prison or something? Just been looking at his boxrec and he has the strangest pattern of fights I've seen.

Crolla will impress, and show how one dimensional Barroso is.

Barring Crolla getting sloppy, or getting into a gun fight, i see him out boxing Barroso, then slowly breaking him down in the last third of the fight.

    Clear UD or late TKO

I hope I am wrong but I think Barroso chins him.

Barroso looked OK against Mitchell, I'm not just talking about his power but his actual boxing skills, seemed to have more about him than I thought he did.

Barroso was pretty much an unknown quantity against Mitchell, most thought he was a crude puncher and Mitchell would easily outbox him but as I said he looked like he had a good understanding of distance, his footwork was OK, decent jab and solid power.

I'm sure Crolla's game plan will box and move and not get involved at all. I think Crolla wins by decision in a for large parts a boring fight but he might have to survive a couple of scary moments but I think he will do enough to get a comfortable enough UD.

Crolla can win this on points if he stays disciplined, he is a slow starter though.

Good point Mr T, that will be the worry, if Crolla does have one of those slow starts it could cost him.

Hearn has said that the reason for the card being so poor is because he is paying Crolla an absolute fortune.

Reading between the lines, it sounds like Hearn is giving him a massive payday because he knows Crolla is getting chinned and this could be the last chance to give him this, considering its a 75-25 split.

He also said he is paying barroso a lot. Load of bs. Sold Crolla short like his last fight - distracted with other fighters and events. Reckon the comments on money is both to justify how he has taken his eye off the ball and for a dig at Wazza/pre empt Flanagan negotiations talking about Crolla is used to earning a lot more

    Good point about Flanagan.

Could be Hearn laying down the marker for potential negotiations with ****** in future.

As in "well Crolla earned xxx in last fight so he should be getting the higher end of the purse"

I'd say he worked wonders for Crolla, hardly sold him short. :huh
