Why Do American's Root Against Deontay Wilder?

Wilder is unknown in the USA. They don't know hes American that's why he has no fans.

 

Because the way he carries himself is an embarresment to us fellow Americans on the international stage.

Pretty much the same reason most of us are rooting against Donald Trump.

--Destroyed and almost ktfo'd by Haye in sparring
--Rocked heavily by a Firtha jab
--Could not defeat a very ill Stiverne as convincingly as Demetrice King
--Could not even knock a very ill Stiverne down like Rossy
--Some of the most shameful opponents for his "title defenses" that the world has ever seen, showing his low self esteem
--Rocked badly and almost out vs substitute teacher Molina ("Drummer Boy")
--He did not perform as well agasint Molina as Arreola OR ASHANTI JORDAN, both of whom knocked him out in 1
--Eye busted up and made to look like a gargoyle by Duhaupas ("The Reptile"), a French pastry chef
--Sold as a nice guy, but actually spends his time beating up hookers and mental patient Charlie Zelenoff, who are ironically his best opponents
--Dispresects great fighters like Tyson and Klitschko
--Now trying to claim that Fury's "courageous" win somehow makes him champion.
--Avoiding Povetkin like the plague
--Seems to be using a new tactic,probably to mask steroid use, of not allowing his pathetic opponents a full camp
--Was considering Wawryck, knocked out in 3 by his mandatory, as an opponent
--Offered a shot to Adamek, a shot to pieces 39 year old former LHW who is 1-2 in his last three, but only allowed him a 6 week camp.
--Avoided Briggs and Bronco Billy Wright, shot fighters who carry AARP cards
--Will fight an unemployed Soccer Hooligan named Szpilka? on 4 weeks notice, and will underpay him, overfeed and hooker him up
--Wilder's team, the "Burger Squad", keeps removing and scrubbing the Internet of all of his shameful knockdowns and ktfo's; mostly while attempting a bad attempt at the "Ali Shuffle", which will now be called the "Burger Bungle".
--Got punked out badly by unemployed, fur coat wearing soccer hooligan Spzilka at face off for their upcoming "title" fight

To the ones that know who he is. He is hyped up like he is going to be the GOAT. He is also being promoted as the HW champ, when all he has is a toy belt that means nothing.

He also sucks.

 

From what I've seen on this forum most American posters root against American fighters which is pathetic. You don't see other countries rooting against their own like you do with Americans. UK posters root for UK fighters so do Mexicans so do Russians. People in this county have no loyalty to it and will be the downfall of it one day.:-(

But probably because his record is padded and it's a shame when you are 36-0 but didn't even fight for a title until you racked up 30 some wins. Has not really been tested. Proclaims himself as the best but his best opponent was probably Stiverne.

 

Americans do root for him. It's you International posters who don't think so. His popularity is still rising in America. People don't know who Povetkin is where he's at.

 

Bull****! Why not support Ward he's killed here. What about Garcia? What about Russell Jr? I could go on and on. PBF should be supported he's the flag carrier for this country the best fighter of this era, Americans should have cheered for PBF every time he fought someone not American but they didn't. Wilder knocks people out and is arguably the best American HW and is fighting Povetkin next but you will have Americans rooting against him hoping he gets knocked out. Why? You don't have the type of stuff in other countries especially when they're fighting someone not from their country. How many people from the UK rooted against Fury when he fought Wlad? I don't root for him because he has been overly protected and does not deserve the hype he receives. His career has been a farce. I do root heavily for Bryant Jennings.
