Why is it cool for Euros to turn down fights for more money, but not Americans?

Vyacheslav Shabranskyy turned down a fight with Andre Ward for money and not a word is mentioned.:think

Walters turned down a fight with Lomachenko for more money and he is called out.:huh

Postol wanted more money for the Crawford fight and was last to sign the contract, but Crawford gets called out.:huh

Wilder not only signed the contract to fight Povetkin but is on his way to start training in Russia right now, but Wilder gets called out when Povetkin was postponing because of injures.

    Stop being hypocrites. That's all.:hi:

Let's not forget Saunders wanting $4 million for GGG fight.

Charles Martin hurried up and signed on to fight Joshua when Joshua was trying to fight other fighters.

Dominic Wade stepped up to fight GGG with no problems while Canelo ducks.

All those dudes like Frampton, Quigg, and Santa Cruz duck Rigo and no one is mad because it's about money, right?

GGG turns down Ward because it's about money, but hates Jacobs, Saunders, Quillin because they want more money.

It's fine for Slava Shabranskyy to turn down Ward, why should he fight him? He's inexperienced at the top level of the sport, he's undefeated, maybe he wants to get a few more decent scalps under his belt before stepping up and facing a TOP THREE P4P fighter in the world, when he hasn't even fought a top 10 fighter at LHW, it seems perfectly reasonable to me.

I have a better question, why is Ward slumming trying to find sloppy undefeated fighters who's 0 will look good on his resume in spite of the fact that they haven't beaten anyone of note? He's one of the top fighters in the sport, shouldn't he be taking a Beterbiev or Stevenson on before facing Kovalev?

Nothing would make me happier than to see Ward KO Stevenson's punk ass, and with his speed combined with the weakness of Stevenson's chin I think that's entirely possible. I could see him putting on a Dawson like performance against Superman.

Didn't he just beat Gonzalez in a more convincing fashion than a pre Kovalev II Jean Pascal?

Yes but that was also a Post Kovalev 1 Pascal as well. That was a very good win, I'm a fan of Slava but that win does nothing to prepare him for the SOG. I'm not sure he gets past Fonfara, Alvarez, Chilemba or Cleverly, so he isn't going to beat Ward.

Saunders and Frampton have gotten loads of stick, so that's not really true. Mind you, those guys are mostly relevant in the UK which is where I've seen it come from, I don't know how relevant they are to the US audiences

Walters is getting called out because he refused the career high payday to fight a guy who's moving up in weight class to fight him.

I never bought the **** that Bud was reluctant to fight Postol and am picking him to win, but when did Postol delayed the fight asking for more money?

Also when did Povetkin postpone the fight because of injuries? Wilder was the one who signed the fight on 5 weeks notice.
