I dont think it is. I think its about atleast the top 10 of the division. Never hear of him talking about Lee, Quillin, Saunders, Jacobs, Eubank. I also believe if GGG turned round and accepted 155 another issue would crop up from the GBP side of things. Personally i dont care about Canelo and 155 but i just dont think he should be doing it with a world title round his waist.
The reason is Manny Pacquiao. He started the A-side catchweight trend vs Margarito. Without Manny as he moved up I really think top fighters wouldn't be trying to dictate weight advantages for each fight, and divisional supremacy would have at least more meaning than it currently does.

Ok. First of all, Pacquiao is 140 lber. Catchweights are okay as they can make some fights that'd be impossible due to size, now possible. If Pacquiao was the same size as Margarito and asking for a catchweight then there'd be a problem. But he wasn't. He was like 15 pounds smaller. Two, Pacquiao vacated the belt and went back to welterweight because he had no intention of defending it against Jr MW's. It's not as if he held the title hostage.
