Who do you guys have as the best ever?

 

Floyd Mayweather is the greatest check jabber of all time and you know it.

 

In no particular order Ike quartey, winky wright, Larry Holmes, Vladimir klitschko, floyd Mayweather, Oscar dela Hoya, Lennox Lewis,willie pep, ali, and pernell whitaker..Jermain Taylor, Miguel cotto, Andre ward all have a good but not sure if it can be ranked best all time

 

He was more of a check hooker but he did unleash a couple of check jabs against Pac because he was too scared to over extend

 

I don't think any of those minus Quartey even used the check jab often

can someone show me a youtube video of a check jab? link and time of a good check jab in the video. I know a check hook but trying to envision how a check jab differentiates from a regular jab. Maybe how Golovkin used it against ma boi Lemeuix?

 

The first name that came to mind was Larry Holmes, quickly followed by Ali.

 

Golovkin has put it to good use. The best example of the Check jab, was the one that Dustin " Worm " Nichols used to ktfo Deontay Wilder with. That video is still available for now
