im just real about ggg...i think hes a real good fighter...like really good...i have no actual beef with him...hes a good guy...good style....could be real good for boxing

but for all the hype he gets...people talk about him like hes different and here to save us from all the wrongs in boxing....but his team runs his career just like any other fighter out there...like any other fighter that has been killed by forum posters for the same stuff...or less....and some of those guys are much more accomplished

if people were able to be real about ggg...and hit pause on the praise...and actually demand him to do what it takes to make better fights? then i wouldnt say a bad word about him

The problem is that Canelo cant impose a 155 fight. You fight at 160 or you drop the belt.

In case all the people havent noticed, GGG is the mandatory for the title.

The champion cant force the weight limit on is mandatory.

This has coward written all over it.

That's fine then c*ck muncher, in that case GG was willing to fight Andre Ward at SMW even though he asked for 164.

    :patsch

I'd be amazed if you could tie a pair of shoe laces together.

No, he doesn't have any rights whatsoever.

No fighter should be above the rules of boxing.

He knew what the rules were when he turned pro.

He knew when he signed to fight Cotto that the winner HAD to fight GG as he was the mandatory.

There is nothing else to say.

And anyone who advocates this is a f*cking idiot! Because if Canelo gets his way it will set a precedent. And Boxing is already on it's a$$ with the number of weight classes, Org's, and all of the belts that are on offer. There's now more than 100 belts across all of the divisions.

Look at the bigger picture. Boxing does NOT need this. Forget A side/B side, PPV etc, GG is a fellow champ and the MANDATORY challenger.

For the first time ever, I'm going to be supporting Amir Khan tonight.

If the fight doesn't happen, it won't be because GG's sabotaged it. It will be because Canelo has gone against the rules of boxing.

Canelo's problem is that he can't make the 154 but doesn't want part of true middleweights do, he made his own weight

no middleweight has a limit of 160 so if canelo wants to come in at 155 he is free but nobody else should have too

    Correct.

Let him weigh 155 and GG can weigh whatever he wants within the limit.

Dude A.Ward said THE VERY NEXT DAY after that he was just talking because he was mad, that he could never make 160, and that there is no stripes in calling out a guy 3 divisions smaller.

Golovkin said for a good 2-3 years ANYBODY from 54-68, until called on it and stil says he can make 154 to this day.

If your gonna bring it up bring up everything also who cares about Ward that wasn't the topic at hand.

Sure. He has rights. Before all else...pro boxing is a BUSINESS. And Canelo has the right to do business with someone and the right not to. At the end of the day the "rules of boxing" will put that precious token belt in GGG's hands, if a deal can't be made. But, what we are also seeing is GGG exercising his RIGHT not to do business with Canelo.

If boxing was ALL about the rules. The two would be FORCED to fight at whatever weight(s) the commission required. That's not how it works, sir. And anyone who believes that it does work this way is a f*cking idiot.
