He is not in it anymore, this is the worst KO of his career and I do not think will he recover from this. God knows the heat he will get from Brook and co.

He boxed well. He got caught from a big punch from a bigger guy
He's more than capable of going back to 147

He's not boxed anyone notable at 147, I'm not sure why people can think he can have success there when it's such a stacked division.

this is the issue with boxing fans it's either all or nothing. khan took some good punches from canelo as well. the one punch he got ko'd with would hurt many

This is similar to the Pacman KO of Hatton. This will affect Khan mentally, Brook and co will be trolling him hard from this. He needs to pack it in, Khan is not effective after round 4/5. He has made his money and needs to retire now, Thurman, Brook, Garcia will KO him. Khan's punch resistance has slightly gone as well.

Yeah I agree now. He's made a **** ton of money, just call it quits. Too many shots to the head now. Kell knocks him out, one of the best timers in the game. It would be the same story, Khan takes the early rounds and as soon as Kell gets his timing, he KOs him.

If he's going to carry on he should fight Liam Smith, pick up a final world title and then retire. He'd probably beat Smith but Kell would hurt him.

It's not and he doesn't need to quit but 147lbs is a difficult division for Khan. The problem with Khan is this could easily happen at 147lbs. Khan doesn't punch hard enough.

    Timing beats speed!!

He needs to retire because he's the Biggest Joke in the sport. That Knockout will be viewed by Millions. He has a love affair with the canvas.

Brook is much faster than Alavrez imagine what Brook would do to him, it wouldn't last 3 rounds.

How do you come back from a KO like that? He was done.

Yes he's gone up to 155, fair play to him he has ***** of steel but he's been banjo'd by Prescott, Garcia and Canelo.... if he goes down to 147 for the Brook fight I see the same thing happening.... Brook timing him with a big right hand and BINGO game over.

I see you are getting your excuses in already.

Saying that punch would have hurt many is nothing but pure, baseless speculation. All we know about that punch is that it KO'd Khan, nothing else.

There have been plenty of fighters that Canelo has hit flush that have not gone down like they have been shot, but let me guess it's nothing to do with Khan's chin right? :rofl:patsch:nut:smoke

Prescott and Garcia cracked that long before Canelo came along.

It was already damaged goods by the time Canelo came along son

Khan can still fight on for the money, but another brutal highlight reel KO loss is on the cards

Knee jerk reactions from people here, we all expected it but he's not finished. He'll simply move back down to his natural weight and be competitive there and probably pick up a world title. Skills are superb, he just got belted by a middleweight, absolutely no shame but we've got people here who obviously hate the guy and get enormous pleasure in seeing the guy fail. Sad really.
