I agree with your remark about styles but I see Golovkin destroying Alvarez. Khan is of course much faster but I do not see Canelo's relatively low output prevent Golovkin's offense. Alvarez looked very, very poor in the first rounds when khan was disciplined with his jab, he had no answer for the simple jabs and kept swinging for the fences.
yeah, there is no excuses, especially how big he was compared to khan. You call yourself a mw champ, you gotta fight the top guy at that weight, which is GGG.
GGG would light Alvarez up. In fact, I would like to see Lemiuex vs Alvarez first. I don't think Alvarez wins it.
Golovkin stops Canelo, not in the fashion Canelo stopped Khan but he stops him. Canelo knows it, Oscar and GBP know it, HBO know it and that's why they are making it almost impossible, 155 is not happening, they are not moving on it for a reason, because they know what happens. If any of the above truly believed Canelo beats Golvokin they would have fought tonight. Instead Hopkins is telling Golovkin to move up 15lb and fight Kovalev, anything to get him away from Canelo. Instead Canelo will drop the belt, call himself the A-Side and go and try and make a Pacquiao fight, another welterweight.
That would effectively prove alvarez is a *****. You got to fight a guy your own size, not welterwieghts. And Hopkins is just protecting his financial interests. Cant take him serious at all.
I don't think there's anyone here with half a brain that did not think Kahn would do good for the first half of the fight. Kahn is a world caliber fighter, albeit, with a dubious chin.
