Canelo's punching power is scary. Might be even harder hitting than GGG!!

Laughable. Canelo's power gets over rated because Carlos Balderthal was paid to take a dive, while Canelo was wearing Winning gloves. If you look at who Canelo has fought. He doesn't hit like a guy with huge power. Angulo was a ref stoppage, after Canelo landed everything and the kitchen sink. Lovemore N'Dou the 140 pounder, outweighed by 80 pounds in the ring, went 12 rounds with Canelo. Old **** Shane Mosely, was hit with everything and the kitchen sink, and ate that **** like tasty cake mix. While guys like Forrest, and Pacquiao were able to put a younger Mosely on the canvas. Let's not forget it took Canelo three rounds to get rid of Kirkland, when Ishida used his radioactive Fukushima jab to drop Kirkland repeatedly in the first round and get a first round stoppage. And it took Canelo six rounds to get rid of Khan, when guys with real power like Prescott discarded him in the first. So yeah, Canelo's power is a bit over rated.

(a bit of sarcasm mixed with truth)

That punch that Canelo landed on Khan was brutal.

Yeah and it literally came out of nowhere. I know all these people are saying it was expected, but that was jaw-dropping. I mean Khan was doing his thing and just the feint by Canelo making Khan think another left hook was coming then to throw that sneaky right instead with power !!

    Devastating KO !

I agree, I didn't see the KO coming either. Khan was holding his own for a while and then boom lights out.

Lemieux did look sharp tonight, he also looked sharp before he fought GGG. Lemieux’s problem was he fought the wrong fight against GGG, he wasn’t patient enough and tried to push the action too much which resulted in him being stopped.

Canelo’s gotten a lot better than when he fought Mosley, and I think in that fight, and more recently vs Cotto, he had a lot of respect for those aging veterans and didn’t really try to hurt them / stop them.

But when Canelo gets in a seek-and-destory mode like we saw tonight, he showed that he does have the ability to get KOs. I think Canelo also showed that he has a good chin, he took some hard flush shots from Khan tonight and it didn’t stop him from taking over the fight.
