And Jorge Linares would be Ray Robinson if he could punch, his skin didn't cut so easy, and he had a better chin. But it is what it is. The man boxes beautifully, but all that technique can't make up for his physical defects.

Its not just about chin, its about lack of elusiveness, lack of ability to avoid being hit.

Khan is there to hit plus he has a terrible chin. If he was elusive like Roy Jones was before he moved up to HW and got old, then the bad chin would not matter.

There's of course some great fighters who could punch who had trouble taking it, like Hearns and Trinidad. But when you don't have a chin and can't punch too hard you're just going to lose more often than not against the very best.

 

The only thing that even comes close to Mayweather is his speed. Mayweather is better then Khan in every other department. And who knows how good Mayweathers chins is?

It's not like he's been tagged like Khan has, except once and then he almost went down.
