Seen Mayweather do this a 1000 times - land 2 jabs to the body, feint with the third and when the hands drop it's a flush straight right to the chin
any kind of punch that connects any where is not useless.... only punch that is useless in boxing are those that missed....
lol its one of my most successful punches when i box and i absolutely hate copping it back. not only is it good for a quick sap of energy from your opponent but you get maximum effect out of it if you generally slip their jab by sweeping it over your left shoulder as you dip in and move in with your jab to the body, making them walk into it is the key here and it aient pretty mixing it up is great ill generally dip an throw it quite often, get there hands nice an low then half commit to it pull the jab back to gaurd as i transition into an upstairs right hand (this works beautifully as alot of people start tryin to sort of fly swat your jab to the body if you do it enough or try and counter with a low flying left hook (see judah dropping floyd with this)
It isn't useless. It only looks useless in television. But you feel it, especially if something harder landed before, and it breaks momentum and equilibrium and gives the target something to think about
Actually it's one of the best. It keeps your opponent off balance. The thread starter doesn't know **** about boxing. Horrible thread. Sent from my SM-G925T using Tapatalk
In their first fight Kessler hammered Frochs body with stiff jabs, Froch told his corner " those shots are killing me"...
