Atlas confirming what we all know, favoured stars are just that, favoured: It was impossible for me to give Canelo more than one round and that was the fifth. Canelo had done nothing in the first four rounds other than plod after Khan, missing with left hook after left hook like he was lacking coordination or something. The punch stats were wacky as well, as they had Canelo landing almost 40 percent of his punches and landing more shots than Khan. When you watch Pac vs Floyd, it's apparent just how badly Floyd missed and how he was being countered silly. None of the stats added up but was a big reason for many *****s to suggest he won, Boxing needs to fix this issue fast.
Black American with a padded record vs small christian Asian sensation jumping up weight classes all his career, hardly going to be judged fairly, especially when even the hotels give Floyd Million dollar cars because he brings so much money there.
Oh ya good point....I forgot Manny brings no Asian whale gamblers to casinos and floyd actually fought bobby Pacquiao last may...true true
Yeah all kinds of Asian billionaires and Hollywood stars showing up to support Pacquaio, all kinds.....atsch:nut
Just admit floyd was given a gift in the fight with the punch stat's that just don't match the fight.
A guy named "anglo-saxon" saying that a Black American is given special priviledge in a sport where not even 5 Black fighters have ever retired rich and healthy. WOW!!atsch
Could you imagine how hyped Canelo would be if Floyd didn't school him? Alvarez would be 49-0. It was the same with Pacquiao. Floyd schools both of them and people are still putting down the best of this generation.
That's because they are morons, similarly to posters from their fan base. Mike Tyson made an astronomical sum of money, Holyfield was very rich in his prime, Roy Jones was making more on commercials than top fighters today make fighting etc. Do you see a patern here? Lennox made less than any of them but retired rich and comfortable because he was smart. Being Canadian has huge benefits.
I think Max Kellerman and Lampley were bantering during the Cotto/Canelo fight and Lampley said that Canelo was landing 50 percent of his power punches and had already landed like 100 through the fourth round, and Kellerman said "If Canelo had landed that many power shots, Cotto would be asleep on the floor right now." Another good one where the commentators mention how bizarre the punch stats are was Bute vs DeGale. There's about a minute of banter where they discuss how far off punchstats can be and how Paulie Malinaggie thinks they are complete bull****. It's always frustrating when you see the favorite in a fight getting credit for landing punches he didn't land or slipping punches he didn't slip. It's completely ruined the credibility of compubox.
It's simple. Punch stats are an easy way to fix a fight. The audience is incapable of thinking for themselves or too biased to change their opinion, despite what they see. Look at the Floyd vs Pac fight, as you said, Pac easily outlanded Floyd, yet the punch stats didn't show that. Of course this, is the same Floyd that used and IV and had the T/E ratio of a 157 year old man.
oh. my .GOWD! PACTOIDS!! your cheater lost!!! let it go! he has like 6 / 8 losses been ktfo more than once! what is the MATTER with you, pactoids? the little roid cheat got beat without his candy. its in history. over. done.? aren't you on your knees over gg now?:hi:
