Evgeny Tishchenko is a 6'4 23 year old Heavyweight Amateur. Born in Kanevskaya, Krasnodar Krai, Russia and fighting out of Belgograd, Russia. I do a lot of these threads but of all of the Russian Amateur on the scene right now, Evgeny might be one of the better ones. In 2009 he was the Light Heavyweight Russian Youth Champion, in 2012 he was the UD22 Champion and the Russian Heavyweight Champion, 2013 World Championships Silver Medalist, Gold Medalist at the 2013 Summer Universiade. He has fast hands, moves in a very fluid fashion for someone who is 6'4, decent footwork, good combinations, although he could learn to use his height to his advantage a little better and fight tall. He fought for AIBA and WSB and was doing very good this season up until he lost on points to Savon and also lost to Russo, both neither of those losses are anything to be ashamed of since they are two of the top Amateurs in the World and he's only 23. He has a win over the very talented Alexei Egorov who has a win over Russo, proving triangle theories don't always work. Check Out the Talented Mr. Tishchenko In Action. :toney:toney:toney:toney

Slick and awkward :good shows good power but I don't think he can carry it to HW. He can put some muscles but it might be bad for his movement, so we'll most likely see him at CW.

He clearly lost. Clearly. That's why I just don't put too much stock into amateur boxing or Olympic boxing. I just look for diamonds in the ruff rough...

I've been meaning to do a thread on Levit for the last year, but for some reason I've never been able to come up with a good nickname for him.

Oh well he clearly got a gift, but AJ got debatably 3 gifts against Cammerelle, Savon and Dychko and he's turning into a fine pro.

Levit from Kazakhstan was taxing that Russian's @ss in the finals. Shameful scores. Evgeny didn't win 1 round. Not one! He was getting a boxing lesson from Levit.
