Will Canelo's lose his star power if he gets knocked out by Gennady Golovkin?

    Say this fight happens do you think canelo will lose a alot of steam or will he still be a big draw?

    Also would it damage him

    Its one thing losing on points to Mayweather

    its anther getting knocked out by Gennady Golovkin


    I personally feel it wont really have much effect on him infact he might even get more fans for his courage

    No, Canelo's popularity doesn't come from being invincible or having a perfect record. Look at ODLH, and Pacquiao, losses yet still major draws.

    GGG is more like Floyd where they need that aura of invincibility to be able to be marketable. If GGG loses his perfect record his stock plummets.

    I agree with this canelo wont lose anything win or lose infact he will benefit taking this fight

    Great example above. GGG has that aura. The freakish power, the monstrous chin and relentless cutting off the ring, the sparring stories etc.
