Thoughts? i will give you the break down

Golovkin signed the contract to fight Chavez in 2012 and took way less money he signed the contract 1 month before

chavez at the last moment decided to blame arum to avoid the fight (even though he still fought later for way less money)

Chavez had the chance to make 17 million against GGG arum offered him crazy money for 2 fights

Arum also offered him a 1 fight deal and he could left but he would of still got a lot of money but not the same as the first deal

He would of made around 6 mill plus for a 1 of fight with GGG

None the less chavez refused both offers

No, Can't duck someone not in your weight group especially when Chavez Jr has trouble making anything below light heavy weight.

learn what happen chavez was fighting at 168 at that time and they even agreed to negotiate for him to only get cold feet at the last moment

the fight was going to get made at 168

Chavez is a super heavyweight with the munchies.

No I don't think he ducked Golovkin he just can't make weights, any weight, if that idiot fought at cruiserweight he'd come in overweight

arum offered chavez 10 mil to fight ggg if he resigned with TR....7 if he didn't

which basically tells chavez that the 10 mil for the fight is there and bob is trying to hold him hostage....bob knew chavez wasn't staying with him....it seems odd that bob wouldn't want futures on a guy that could have gotten destroyed......

Exactly. They don't know what the boxing term "duck" truly means.

Again Chavez Jr. has a really hard time making 168. He hasn't been 168 since 2014. And FYI I already know what happen. Chavez Jr probably didn't wanna lose his entire purse because of failing to make 168.

Not that simple I think - reports in the Mexican press from that time suggest Haymon offered Junior a reported $35mil multi-fight deal. Why just then? Who knows, but it's hard to imagine anyone thinking he was worth that much in the light of his poor showings against Vera.

So he's scared of someone who's biggest win at the time was Lajuan Simon(and remains to be even 4 years later feasting on nothing but bums) but isn't scared of fighting Fonfara at Light Heavyweight. Makes sense. Honest question, is any GGG fan mentally competent?.

ok koba..i can buy that...i mean like i said "bob knew chavez wasn't staying with him".......that's probably why...

still seems strange of bob to offer 10 mil to fight ggg if he resigns....but 7 mil if he didn't...i mean...i guess bob could have easily recouped the extra 3 mil with another chavez show...but chavez could have been beaten badly

the whole thing was weird i guess

Junior was yet another Mexican diva who ran for the hills once he was embarrassed in sparring GGG.

With his celebrity lifestyle and his womanizing and pot smoking antics, it is clear that Junior doesn't have any business sharing a ring with GGG.
