I haven't seen any of Di Rocco at all so I have no idea; is this a fight Burns should win comfortably? I'm sure a few of the experts on here can point me in the right direction...

    Thinking of having a 4-fold
Povetkin (can't believe he's not the favourite in Russia)
    Burns
    Groves
    Thurman

I've not seen him fight or heard anything about him which isn't a great indicator. That said, depends how much Burns has left

Pretty sure he struggled against Lenny Daws over in Italy and Mick Hennessey wanted rematch but in England.

Bet365 is offering 5.26/1 but you probably can get better elsewhere; Burns was the one I was unsure about but I think its worth a punt.

i worry about the natural size diffrence in the fight Ricky is a lightweight and shouldnt be fighting at lightwelter

This is a cracking bet... Ricky at his best will win this. Di Rocco is smaller than Ricky doesnt hit hard enough to keep Ricky off. He also drops his work rate. I can see Ricky stopping him

Zlaticanan was smallier than Ricky and he didn't beat him? I tend to agree with Billy, Ricky doesn't look great at 10 stone but worse than that he doesn't believe in himself at that weight.

Zlaticanan was a southpaw pressure fighter. Ricky struggles with them. Di Rocco got a gift against Daws and Nieto I think his name is. Ricky stays behind his jab cross and pick off body shots the he will win widely on points or mid to late round stoppage. This is a gift of a World title and Ricky will grab it

I really hope so, this is last, last chance saloon for the Rickster and keeping televised shows in Scotland. But even though Ricky has to improve on his last 4-5 performances to get the win.

David Di Rocco's back is massive mate and he has very big shoulders too, Ricky looked small in comparision at the press conference I seen, I do agree Di Rocco's work tends to slack off the second half of the fight but this is a world title and he must come in super fit.

He is bigger in that sense he will carry more power than Ricky. I agree with what a few people have said though. It depends what Ricky turns up. If he sticks to a game plan he can make it easy if he goes toe to toe maybe not. I dont think Di Rocco is as good as Zlaticanan. The corner will be important in this fight. Got to ignore everything thats gone on and pretend this is the Martinez fight.. Fight like that and he wins

As Di Rocco is the naturally bigger man, would it not be a fair bet that he was quite a bit over the 140(?) limit at the presser, in comparison to Burns?
