I like Kell Brook but I am not going to ignore logic. Brook can box but his skills aren't good enough to fight bigger and stronger opponents. A fighter of Canelo power and size would flatten him in 8 rounds.

And Brook can't hold Canelo like he did Porter.

Unlike Khan, Kell has fought at the Light Middleweight limit in the past, he'd have zero problem making the weight, he's a big ass Welterweight, he's shown he can take a punch, Khan has never been able to take a punch, Canelo has shown he still struggles with pure boxers, and Brook hits harder and is more skilled than Khan, he's second to Mayweather and even with Lara and Trout in the skills department, Brook schools him for the first 7 or 8 rounds, then he fades and survives to the final bell only to be robbed on the scorecards.

  5. Brook UD.

Matches up much better physically with Canelo than Khan did, and if Canelo wanted to fight at 155, he would basically be draining himself while Brook would probably be at his strongest possible weight.

The first fight against Carson should have been a draw, Brook woudl nto be able to compete with Saul at 155, Canelo would destroy him.

Brook wins easily by points on on level playing field i.e. anywhere outside the US

    Canelo by stoppage, rounds 4-7
If you look at Khan's body marked up after those Canelo body shots, you can see why he dropped that left hand. Anyway, Brook won't take those body shots!

  11. Never understood people's obsession with going off a fighters worst ever performance. You can't honestly think that the version of Brook who barely trained, spent his camp partying and had no motivation would be in similar condition for the biggest fight of his career now he's much more mature. If that's the case then maybe the Canelo would turn up that was in big trouble against Cottos brother and Brook would close the show being a better finisher?

Why is it any interest at all about a MW dragging up another WW to fight. Let's turn it around...how would Canelo do against say Kovalev?

true, but I've only seen 2 fights Brook has had at LMW, and in one he looked awful. If this was at WW, their skills are pretty much on par, though, while Brook is better fundamentally, Canelo has better skills in different areas. At 155, Canelo is just too big, Jones bullied him, Canelo will too.

You saw what happened when Brook fought Carson nearer to the weight Canelo fights at.
Brook would box in the slick European style and dominate
