Always thought he was the worst of the 'Mediocre Four'.

Catapulted to world level based on a knockout of Asikainen. Admittedly fought well against Sturm the but the way he was hanging on for dear life in that fight puts his fast start into context. Not much thought or skill behind any of it.

Never really a top slugger or boxer - somewhere in between - and while some would say he was well rounded as result, he was too thinly spread to really prosper at the top level. Range issues(areas both Barker and Lee trump him) and lack of punch resistance (Where Murray is comfortably superior) being his main problems. The lack of range for one explains his inability to box well consistently at mid range.

    Decent euro level fighter overall.

C'mon Len. You really need to take the blinkers off. If they weren't Irish you'd be the first to condemn the people Macklin is associating himself with.

You cast aspersions on Eubank Jr. using PEDs but give the benefit of the doubt (more than the police or Irish media do) to the Kinahan's involvement with Matthew and MGM. It really is ridiculous.

As for Barker, if coming into the fight healthy then I'd pick him to comfortably outbox Mack, who gets so overrated for outworking Sturm its unreal.

Lee vs Barker would have been my pick of the four purely because Murray always finds a way to come up short in a big fight.
