What's the best, or BIGGEST, fight you have been to live and in person???? Memories? Thoughts, observations??

Probably Cotto-Judah. I've been to fights of more significance, but the vibe at Cotto-Judah made it feel like this was the biggest, most important fight of all time. Great crowd, great fight, and after it was over people were acting like their birthday, Christmas and the end of WWII all just happened.

Jeez mate, been to so many it's hard to pick one.

For historical purposes and the fact that it was the last great thing the greatest fighter of the last decade did, Roy Jones Jr vs Ruiz at the Thomas and Mack.

For sheer fun and the most enjoyment, the couple of St Patricks Massacres I've been too with John Duddy fighting at MSG have been excellent, probably because of the alcohol consumption more than anything else!

    1. Julio Cesar Chavez vs. Frankie Randall I - I was only 12 but I was shocked to see Randall win the fight. I like him the second I seen him come out in the scrubs. On the card was also Tommy Hearns KO some can in the 1st. Trinidad's true emegence also on the same card with a UD over Camacho. All for free due to my father's friend being a Food & Beverage director at MGM.

    2. Zab doing the chicken dance vs. Tszyu. HAHAHA it was such a shock also because I thought Zab would totally own him after what I'd seen in the 1st round. Wow was Zab fast in person!

Nigel Benn V The G-man Mclellan

It Was An Awesome Contest Spoilt By What Happened To The G-man.

I Remember Leading Up To The Fight That Everyone Was Saying That Benn Would Get Knocked Out And He Nearly Did.
Nigel Got Himself Into Superb Condition For This One Because He Knew The Calibre Of Opponent G-man Was.
As I Say Just A Shame With The Aftermath Of It All

Can't believe you got to see Jones Jr vs Ruiz live. There's an event I really wanted to go to, but couldn't afford at all.

I saw the greatest robbery of all time---Lennox Lewis vs Evander Holyfield in the garden.

I'm SHOCKED that I'm still a fan after that.

Even as a lil kid I knew that was some bull****.

I was at JONES-RUIZ, too. That was a fun trip (I wrote a giant essay about it that was posted on line at the time, I still have it) I have been to 19 of RJ's fights including ones with Paz, Hopkins and Toney. I think the most anticipated fight I have been present for was Bowe-Holyfield 1.
