His skill level is tremendous though, especially for a 21 yr old and someone 6'6, rarely can fighters move in the ring while boxing, or in fight/body punch like Hughie.
Hughie isn't 6'6. I've stood right next to him and he's probably as much as 6'4. 6'5 would be really pushing it. A lot of these moden heavyweights are saying they are 6'6 and 6'8 and 6'9 or whatever but when most of them are a couple of inches shorter. It's all hype. Or they are measuring height with their shoes on. I haven't stood right next to Tyson Fury but I suspect he's 6'7 and not 6'9. Breazeale, Joshua, Price ... I wouldn't be at all surprised if these guys were a couple of inches less than they claim to be.
Hughie has more fights and rounds in the bank than Whyte and AJ. IT'S A DUCK BECAUSE THEY DON'T REALLY BELIEVE THAT THEY CAN BEAT THOSE LEVEL OF OPPONENTS. SIMPLES.
Not sure why some doubt Hughie's health issues. There is definitely something wrong with him. You can see something's bothering him as he's sitting on his stool at the end of the first round in the Kassi fight. Peter Fury asks him how he's feeling and Hughie replies that he's ''feeling a bit tired'' (or at least that's what I think he said). Then Peter Fury and Clifton Mitchell have to try to motivate him by telling him not to worry about it and that he'll be alright. You can also tell something isn't right from his body language. No professional fighter should be feeling like that after 3 minutes of action unless something is wrong with them. 3:48 [YT]THM5kCDRfj4[/YT]
fury would actually frustrate the hell out of a fighter like whyte. i can understand why they dont want whyte / but fury will be one of the hardest non punchers at heavy to fight. you basically have to try and steamroll him / but for 21 he is a natural /loose and relaxed fighter with good head and leg movement for a big man. no one will look good fighting him unless they catch him cold.
In what fantasy land does or could Whyte have poor stamina, along the lines of the utter ignorant peeps "claiming canelo has, hard or ever could've bad stamina. Whyte is the best hw win in decades and would make most if not all hw vistories the cream dela coupe. Big names has zero do with with legit great wins. The totally atruggle joe had with takam separates the vast difference in levels. Not s single opponent of takam and Joe's could win more than a single minute of any single round vs whyte. Whyte an A fighter thats dodged like the plague. Whyte AJ and DW will be only men standing tall in 2017/18. Tough pill to swallow hut the facts always rise to the elites. Takam and Joe are raw, at best are c very low level b- minus fighters. Give yourself some time to weed out the weak. Ie, Joe and takam are the weak
whyte has a good chin and good power but parkers skill levels are a lot better than whytes whyte is what he is / a powerfull /strong /puncher / but skilled and able to fire off fast/fluid /mixed up combos as parker throws / that he is not able to do. parkers all around abilty is above whytes and that should be clear to all fans on this board / who i presume are hardcore fans or they would not be here. bias blinds some posters to what they should see with there own eyes.
