It was state funded cheating , get with it man it is bigger than 1 guy popping hot . It was basically given out for free and encouraged by the gov

Like I said, Eastern Europeans are being punished for it when they get caught. In the US you just bribe USADA/NSAC and get away with it. Which is more difficult? In Russia where you will be caught and banned or in the US where you might get caught and easily get away with it? It's simple really. The US right now is not any different than 70's Soviets when it comes to PEDs.

First it is dirt cheap and available in any drug store without prescription. My friends use it when they train a lot in order to evade any heart problems when they are overtraining. A LOT of people take it for that purpose.

Secondly when you are saying that it was encouraged by goverment you do understand that first you speak about USA government. It's very funny to what that there are many people in denial when it comes to EE countries, they are automatically evil. You just have to watch less what your goverment feed you through media. You don't have any independent media, may be it was somewhere in past but definitely not now. And the situation is worser than in USSR where I was born. And the funny thing we in USSR had more freedom compared to the "freedom" you currently have in U.S.

The funny thing Dan Rafael labelled Povetkin as PEDvetkin without any clear information, decisions from WADA or WBC, any comments from both sides. Basically it says a lot about intention from US side about that fight.

Don't be naïve. Rodchenkov, who was the head of Russia's main anti-doping testing lab during the Sochi Olympics and defected to the US, has said that state-run doping is rampant in Russia. The fact that the entire track team has been banned from the Olympics should tell you something. lol at Russia having more freedom. Tell that to the dead journalists and politicians that crossed Putin.

I am not naive, no one in post soviet countries believes in clean professional sport, but labelling only one country is ridiculous and just tells the intention of that scandal.

cslb lol at you and your delusions in regards freedom. You think you don't have it there? Who is naive? Your government propaganda is just at levels way higher than it was in USSR. Corruption is same as in other countries, it's just you don't see it there, but the volumes are very high.

And finally I was born in USSR, I was living there. Now I am living in western country, lived in Europe and I have a lot to compare. You have here so many CAN'T and NOT ALLOWED and ILLEGAL in so many segments of normal life.

I can criticize the government here and not worry about turning up dead. I worked in intelligence when I was in the military and am not under any delusions regarding the US government. However, to say that Russia offers its citizens the same degree of freedom that we have here in the States is ludicrous. By the way, what country are you living in now?

You go and watch liberal opposition in Russia, they say what they want, you just don't notice it. They are allowed to do organised protests, just google it. You just don't know how much liberal press they have all the time saying everything is bad.

Just proves Wilder is desperate to avoid any half decent heavyweight out there. The guy is a joke.

Wilder and Haymon skipping to the plane hand in hand thinking they'd pulled it off. Meanwhile, Povetkin has failed no test (per WADA who set the rules) and is expecting the fight to go ahead. Somehow I think Deonkey and Haymong are in for a wee red letter soon, they can then dance strip the bum willow.

He was tested against Stiverne and he passed handily, I expected this fight to go similarly

This guts me, I've been a fan of Povetkin and was quietly rooting for him to win but in all honesty so far I feel this all stinks and I don't think Wilder and crew have done anything wrong, if I were in their shoes I'd shut down any thought of facing someone who seems to have clearly been finding ways to get unfair advantages.

This was going to be an awesome fight, very very disappointed -and in all honesty my faith in the Eastern Europeans is dropping.
