This is a great match. Two of my favorite heavyweights. I can see an all-action fight. Hopefully this will unveil details about Parker'a ability to fight at a medium to fast pace, stamina, and also chin.

He's very good. A Joshua level talent, IMO. Check him out on the 'tube. Lots of footage of the guy.

With the Povetkin vs Wilder fight being called off this fight has only gone up in significance, imho. This really is one of the biggest/most interesting heavyweight fights in ages - can't wait for the weekend!

I know neither of these men are frauds and cowards like Wilder. That's for sure.

Parker is better than Breazeale, but that doesn't mean anything. Takam fought his ass off against a perez who was begging to lose. That fight proved the ceiling for takam is what it is, not high. Especially with the crop of hw we have today.

If a real takam fan tells me that was a horribly off night, smg personal happened, that could explain that pretty weak performance.

Takam against perez, is that all takam has to offer ? He's so slow and i don't see him with true hw power.

The hype parker gets here is only a few levels less than AJ and no way does takam see the 5th round, not a chance.

I expect parker to be able to handle takam easily and stops him late or wide UD from survive mode

Not an easy fight in my book.

But it could well be a WAR.

    Parker by KO

I thought Takam fought well against Povetkin - Parker will need to go to war to win this one imo.

Not to mention Takam looks easily in his career best shape!

The parker who fought in his last fight, which I believe was against Bergmann, loses this fight in my opinion but if he improves upon that he can win. Its a very intriguing fight as no one really knows how good Parker is and we all know Takam is a good solid fighter who will test anyone outside the elite names. Will be a great fight and I think Takam will win late rounds or on points just basing it off Parkers last fight but big respect to whoever wins.

Parker's last fight was a bit of an anomaly. I think he will dominate from Round One and make a big statement in this fight.

The fight with Bergman was a tad frustrating, though it sounds like Parker had an off camp and night and Bergman also came well prepared and fought to survive so it was definitely a fight to make Parker look worse than he is. I think Bergman put on a better show than he has in the past too and would be interested to see how he goes next against someone of a lower level than Parker.

Parker has had a decent break now and sounds like he has had a great camp and in good spirits about this one, seems much more positive but no matter what I can't see either guy having an easy night

I wonder if there'll be more interest in this fight after the Pov/ Wilder fight was canned?

There should be. Most interesting fight of the weekend now that Wilder-Povetkin is gone.
