UK lot are known to be ducks, and to take easier fights. Frampton dropped 2 of his belts to avoid Rigo, Quigg has been ducknig Rigo for YEARS, McDonnell who is not even in that weihgt division is going up to fight the man. Major respect, I actually hope he pulls it off, Rigo is getting old, and no one is willing to fight him besides McDonnell anyways.
The U.K. are known to be ducks? What's your opinion on Wilder. The answer to this will reveal a lot about you.
Op fails to realise these are professional athletes...they work for pay. Optimum financial reward applies. In HIS circumstances, it is better for McDonnell to go and face Rigo. For Frampton, in his circumstances, it is not.
UK fighters are known to be ducks? I only saw it because Sugar 88 quoted you, I blocked you a long time ago and trolling like that reminds me why I did. What a sad attention seeking bellend you are ellerbe, are you in the Uk forum because you get blanked in the general?
McDonnell indeed does have cojones, as does Quigg, Frampton etc. But to say he has more courage than the others is just silly. McDonnell HAS to raise his profile...this is his opportunity to do exactly that. That's what him fighting Rigo is about.....
How is it better for him to face Rigo? If he gets schooled by rigo hsi stock drops MASSIVELY, he could just keep fighting guys in his division and get big paydays. We know Hearn pays well. Yeah Frampton dropped his belts because "Leo" was such a big payday, if Rigo was not the mando he would have still dropped those belts . Suuuuure.
Who has Wilder ducked? Povetkin could have enforced his mando in January, but instead of enforcing him he fights retired boxer Wach. And then he gets caught cheating, let me guess it's wilder's fault though right?
This will be a career high payday for McDonnell that's the difference and his stock won't drop if he loses in my opinion. Unfortunately I think his style is made for rigo but fair play to him
Really you shouldnt be making posts when you have so little understanding of the matter. You are only making a fool of yourself.....:tired :nono
Correct....this is a classic 'no lose' situation IMO. McDonnell cant lose here - its win-win for him. He gets kudos even if he loses. Dunno what the OP is on about here....:huh
Wilder has been ducking anyone with a pulse since he turned pro. He has taken the path of no resistance every step of the way. Then when he finally had to face a live body he lucked out yet again with Povetkin failing the test. He's the typical all american hype job waiting to be exposed. Meanwhile legitimate American fighters like Crawford seem to be being slept on. Go figure.
You speak the truth, which is beyond the little boys on here who think everyone is 'ducking' everyone else. I forgot what it was like to be aged 14.
There are ducks everywhere, the biggest in the world is Canelo right now, you cant generalise one nations or group of nations to be the biggest ducks, they are everywhere and as for McDonnell he is as brave a man as there is out there, he would fight absolutely anyone as long as he is getting paid.
How is it a no lose situation you utter **** . If someone gets utterly schooled for 12 rounds, their stock drops no matter what. If McDonnel puts up a good fight and loses no his stock won't drop, but when you fight Rigo you risk getting completely humiliated. Slap your self for being this stupid.
