so you have called every prospect out there and say one of them is goign to be exposed pretty good odds man never ever has 10 prospects been elites. i like your style
one I'm really excited about is CW Prospect Aaron Williams. Have you had the chance to see him yet, Ice?? If so what are your opinions of the fella??
I sure as hell don't think the guy is future HOF'er, and have soured on him over his last couple of fights. However, it's hard to label him a hypejob on this forum considering very few people believe in him. The chin criticisms are premature as well.
technical skill are pretty bad ur right his chin is glass i remember hearing of him getting KD all over the place back in the amateurs,, from his amateur days his chin has been suspect, and probably the worst thing about him is that he have a tendency to admire his works he will keep his hands low after throwing a combination and he is a complete sucker 4 the left hook,, i cant wait 4 this guy to get exposed or KTFO by somebody in 147 any of the champs will mop the floor with him right now its about time to see the berto hypetrain come to an end he has fought enough gatekeepers so far that either he is ready now or he will never be ready its time for berto to step up and take his KO like a man
He looks quick compared to the slow slow fighters they always put him up against. Watch his hands and then watch the hands of someone like Marquez or even Kameda and you'll see a big difference. He's above average, but not upper-tier.
I agree 100%. I think I am very good at spotting quality and hype and separating them, my track record for this is actually a lot better than my overall prediction resume, which is not quite as good this year like it was last year, but still very solid. Ward, Berto, Mares etc. Nothing against them, but they'll be B class at best and don't deserve major hype. A guy like Cristian Mijares, who's dominating opponents and almost getting robbed multiple times deserves hype and a large backing.
Why is everyone saying Berto has a glass jaw? That term is used wayyyyy too much. this is boxing. you are going to get hurt. 99% of boxers get hurt at some point of their careers. it doesnt mean they have a glass jaw. The term glass jaw should be designated to people who get KO'd regularly or are visibly constantly getting rocked. More importantly people with "glass jaws" usually arent undefeated after 10-15 fights or more.
Your right. In 5 years every boxer in the world is gonna suck. Gamboa will be a 9 division champion fighting for the heavyweight title against who ever wins the gold medal at the olympics this year.atsch
not really big on gamboa . but time wil tell i only saw this past saturday and some highlight from past fights . i need to see more but really wasn't to impressed
