"Oh absolutely, but I’m not gonna say it’s fear but respect for what he’s done and also think of who he’s knocked out and how he’s knocked them out. Of course that gives Golovkin a little edge because these guys are a little weary of doing the things that they want to do, not because they’re scared but just because they know what has happened in the past. Wade was 18-0 and he was our mandatory contender, so we had no choice but to fight him, but I think that he’s going to be back and I think he’s going to do well," said Sanchez.

Omg, i can understand the aura tyson had from 18 to 22 but that was ALL he had in common with ggg. Ggg couldn't be any further on the opposite end of the spectrum from tyson.

Tyson was meantally WEAK compared to ggg and his skills were completely absent compared to the technically superior (in every facet) ggg.

Tyson wasn't truly a great fighter, he had a great 4,5 years COMBINED throughout his entire career that was better than his competition, he never beat any A level fighter's at any point in his career.

Ggg still has the best parts of his already insane career in front of him. He has so many great fights from completing his dominating mw history making run all the way through lhw.

He has 10 great matchups in the future, and if he stays healthy he will own mw,smw and lhw by the time he's ready for a Farwell fight...

GGG at 34 has a worse record than Tyson at 24.

no disrespect to GGG but Tyson was 5'9 or 5'10 fighting behemoths. GGG is fighting men that are his size or smaller. Can't compare the two.

Murray and Lemieux, arguably his two best wins, are bigger than him.

Erislandy Lara plays the role of Buster Douglas, while Canelo is Evander Holyfield, Tyson's kryptonite. :D

Did you see the punches he was throwing at Stevens in the first round? I'm sure golovkin can end all of his fights in round 1 if he chose to, he has the pressure and the power for it.

The youngest Heavyweight champion in history is being compared to a media hype who's entire career is based on fighting bums. The comedy continues.
