7 ROUNDS?! 😂😂😂 based on what?

Throwing less punches. Landing less punches. Being less effective with what he did land. Getting hurt in atleast 4 of the rounds.

    Put down the pipe kid.

That was not a robbery. 116-112 is fair and 115-113 is more tha pheasble.

Even AJs biggest fans in the UK board had Parker winning by atleast 2. Moron.

Takam didn't throw enough to win. Which is his problem, same reason he only got a draw with Perez. When he was active he gave both fighters major issues. Takam in his big fights looked his best against Povetkin.

Throwing less punches, yes, but landing less? No way. Parker's shots had nothing on them from round 5 on and barely landed anything against Takams great defense. I must have missed the part where Takam was hurt, Parker was dazed for some moments.

8-4 is a terrible scorecard. Takam won 6,7 rounds. If the fight was in France, he would have won a decision. Now in New-Zealand, they gave it to Parker. In a neutral venue, it would have been a draw. But hey, that's boxing.

I'm impressed with Parker's hand speed, plus he's got decent power.

To be fair after 6 rounds there must have been quite a few of you thinking Parker was completely gassed and was there for the taking.

    I thought it.

It wasn't a far fetched prediction, as I said between 6-8 it looked very possible. I think between 6-8 the odds of a 11th round TKO wouldn't have been that generous.

I agree... though Takam was also very very close at points, too - Takam has an awesome "poker face" and keeps reasonable form when he is both gassed and also when his world is spinning, there were a couple of points he had a similar look to how he looked before Povetkin "one punch KOd him" (I reckon Takam was still reeling from the earlier accumulation but made kept it together enough to semi mask it).

In saying that, I felt like this fight was 52:48 in Parkers favour and it was pretty much how it played out - Soprano was saying Takam was on amother level and Parker was going to get a hiding and get knocked out. That is clearly not the case although he did look in danger after some wars which again both suffered from.

Takams own side had Parker winning, and there was a French ref on the table. Parker definitely won.
