"Needs a food bank asap" It was a total embarrassment to British boxing tonight, all of it, from the pundits, the commentary, you know it's bad when you start thinking "Nick Halling and Jim Watt aren't all that bad" and "compared to this Matchroom cards are always very entertaining and competitive" :think
Thanks mate, I should calm down and get a grip on reality, it's Watt and Halling for Christs sake. I think I must have hit my head when I passed out from embarrassment.
Haye vs AJ is a great fight while it will lasts, someone going down.. Dont think that it will go past 4 rounds, lots of power with both guys.. If AJ was more experienced then he would have the upper hand, but if its next year then its a pick em.. AJ used his jab too good effect try keep Haye at range then it could be a tough night for Haye, but can AJ do that for a long time? Does Haye still have the stamina? These are a few questions..
Anyone else think he kind of went ragged very quickly when he couldn't blast GGjjrgrgggr out in the first minute? Lots of slow, arching shots. Lost his form a bit. Obviously it didn't matter, Grgrgsjjj fell over the next round, but was still revealing.
I don't think Haye really trained too hard for this fight, he had moobs FFS, so it's hard to tell how fast and explosive he will be when he commits fully to a training camp for more competitive fights.
He used to be so athletic I agree about the technique too. Maybe that's what's making him look worse not his speed. Seems all over the shop.
More unbalanced a couple times, overreaching, not judging the right distance. He brings speed and power, but David is elusive, and is hard to hit flush unlike the rest of the heavyweights. I still remember when he had his hands down at his side and wlad still couldn't land anything
Haye always used to bounce around the ring and he still does. Difference is its now just his newly acquired breasts that bounce.
