jermall vs austin trout: jermall looked good early. landed the long powerful jab, hard counters...looked like he was on the way to overpowering trout. but trout utilized his experience and started to turn the tide in the second half of the fight...trout started landing clean counters and giving jermall a lot of movement...seemed like jermall got a little gunshy after eating repeated counters...fatigue also seemed to be a factor in the last couple of rounds, trout definitely showed jermall has a lot to learn...i give jermall a C+, but given the fact trout beat cotto and arguably beat canelo and gave lara a good fight, maybe i'm being a little too hard on charlo...tbh, i think trout has actually IMPROVED since the cotto, canelo and lara fights, so it's impressive that inexperienced jermall was able to get the decision.

jermell vs jackson: so, jackson came out jabbing, countering, moving around the ring surprising everybody...jackson actually outboxed charlo in the first few rounds...jermell didn't look great. honestly, i think both charlos looked overtrained and kinda low-energy. but jermell turned up the offense and caught jackson with a countershot that took the legs outta him, then jermall followed up with a fusillade that took jackson out. i give jermell a C+

Jackson fought such a negative fight, not much can be gleamed from that other than Jermell passed the test getting the ko. Same dudes rooting for Jackson to upset by stinking out the joint were the sames ones dissing Lara. Pure hypocrites.

I thought Jermall did good considering his opponent is a very good boxer. Expecting him to blow through Trout is just too high of a standard. Many are going to invent some impossibly high standard that would be difficult for anybody to meet just to down these fighters, I think they did good.

Jermell was losing until a fluke tko
Jermall started to gas and abandon his power shots after getting worked for the later half of the fight. I had it a 6-6 draw, but I could see how the one ref had it 115-113.

They both have A LOT to learn in boxing

Neither of them looked special at all. Biggest thing I took away is that Jermall is GIGANTIC. Trout comes in at about 172 and Jermall dwarfed him.

And they kept saying he looked like Hearns....He looked like Frankenstein in there. Gassed way to early, and didnt want to engage after he was tagged.

    They looked like s***

Jermell was getting schooled he'd won one round and then landed a lucky punch.

Jermall lost his match against Trout and got a gift, the audiences boos said it all.

Very boring fights, but not all on them. They looked good but not elite. There are a lot of good, not great fighters at 54 and they sit right there at the top of the heap. Not enough to separate from the pack, but enough to be at the top of it. At almost 30 years old they aren't getting any younger or better. This is it, they are what they are.

Both Charlos had solid tests, but, passed both by close margins. Jermell was behind when he KO'd John Jackson late. Jermall was in a competitive fight with Trout, but, he deserved the decision he got.

I think J-Rock Williams and possibly Boo Boo Andrade beats them both.
