Haye has no shame. The way he jumped on the ropes celebrating, you'd think he had beaten someone with a pulse. It was an embarrassment and farcical. Good to see his toe is better though.
I remember an interview with dillion white about the guy haye just beat and whyte was laughing he's head off about how terrible he was months ago He said fury has bashing the life out of him in sparring and they were having a right laugh at him and he left after a few days because they couldn't even get good sparring out of him Haye comeback is a complete joke so far and if he fights Briggs (which he will) its only going to be a bigger joke. Its really insulting to watch and the casuals are lapping it up
I woke up this morning and remembered the fights and Haye saying "I'm knocking on the door of a world title fight" Are things really gone that bad? Does beating DeMori and that "fighter" last night really get you close to a world title? Next up a 45 year old freak show, who lets be honest wasn't that good in his prime. And then Haye expects a huge PPV with Joshua? That's a joke. If it happens like that then Haye and all involved in a Joshua fight have taken a leak on British boxing fans.
Did they happen to mention in commentary that Haye's opponent had aleedu knocked our Briggs' opponent a couple of years ago? If they did, I didn't hear it.
Ill admit to enjoying the old cruiserweight, first time around HW version of Haye but this is not good ,maybe we should give the BBBC a bit of stick for sanctioning this pish but Hayemaker PLC would have gone the malta route I guess, and hyping up a full time Kosovan Supermarket shelf stacker (by the way nothing wrong with shelf stacking done it myself:yep) as a credible foe followed by a coming attraction of an 44 year old actor(nothing wrong with actors:yep )(Transporter film) ex-boxer. Makes fast eddie and fish look saintly, and did anyone think Haye looks wrong ,has Mcguigan changed him more for power than speed? ie slower?
By definition pro boxing or 'prizefighting' is fighting for money thats all there is to it. And whilst i agree with all in this thread that sat night was a pile of shiet, if it makes money it makes sense. This sport is as much about entertaiment and if people are entertained watching haye beat up a bum and are paying for it then that defines professional boxing. Its sad but that is the mechanisms.
So going down from a punch that did not land. Looks like a fix to me Or he should have his purse taken away. this is professional boxing and the right for the fan who is paying is to see at least someone try if they are getting paid for it. What would it be like if everyone in their profession did this. If he does not want to fight don't fight but don't charge people for a joke. It makes a mockery of the people of this sport who do try and do fight
The clip of the people were eerily cloned. Women all looked like tarted up slappers and the blokes looked like the were going to a only way is Es*** audition. Total tools.
