    Whether you like it or not, it's coming. The deal is almost done and have no doubts: on September 20, the rematch of the most profitable but less exciting boxing match will be made!

    Las Vegas is the place, HBO PPV is the TV, 150 is the weigh-limit.

    You don't have to argue with the fact that this is the least wanted superfight of the year: the very best vs. the most popular, and people still want to see them fight the Cottos and Mosleys instead of each other - we want excitement! But hey, if Oscar fights a big name in December and at the peak of his popularity, Floyd will fight Cotto in 2009, then it's a fight we can watch as any other, and since it's the last year of the Golden Boy and the only fight of Money in this year, it's better than a September 20 without any fight.

    floyd still wins this by decision just like last time.

    not really intersted though i wish they could have faced other welters instead. Hope cotto floyd happens right after

    10 oz gloves I suppose, the new (old) Nevada 8 oz rule is for fighters between 135 and 147.

    I can't see Floyd finds motivation for this fight unless he tries to go for the KO this time. But he knows he can't => No motivation => Floyd LOSES!?

    This will be a light middleweight fight again?!, if so then it's a bigger sign that a fight with Cotto/Margarito winner MIGHT not happen considering he'll have to move down yet again?, not a very healthy move if he's taking things seriously anymore.

    Could be possible but Floyd doesn't really worry about motivation, he comes 100% for every fight no matter who he's fighting. Though things could change as they did with RJJ.

    Same thing as last time. Oscar spastically throws ineffective arm punches, Floyd skips around, enjoys a heavy bag workout, and a few million people waste cash on this garbage . This of course justifies more of the same, and we can all look forward to more pay per view bull**** fights while Floyd shamelessly avoids Cotto and laughs all the way to the bank.

    i voted floyd UD because i think he will win via decision, but dont be surprised if he isnt as motivated as usual gets his ass KO'd

    Please name a time when you've seen Mayweather 'unmotivated' for a fight. Love him or hate him he is the most well prepared fighter in the game and is at fight weight year round.

    I think Oscar has the game plan, otherwise he wouldn't rematch.

    Other fighters he didn't rematch, maybe because he wasn't so sure.

    $ isn't the issue, he doesn't need it.

    If he jabs all night and doesn't run out of gas, he will win.

    That's like saying "If Zab Judah boxes intelligently, he'll win"

    It's two things that never happen when it comes to ODLH.

    He'll abandon his jab AGAIN and gas out...AGAIN. His reflexes are also starting to fade and if a guy like Forbes is able to get in, a very confident Floyd Mayweather will be able to get in as well.

    I'd LOVE to see an upset with Oscar beating Floyd...but I don't think it'll happen. In fact I think there's a decent chance Floyd knocks Oscar out.
