This is a boxing forum...about boxing using stupid examples like the marathon doesn't really help anyone at all does it.
I was merely playing devils advocate, I have enjoyed a few wars but generally I don't, and I boxing little so I appreciate the skill required to do what someone like FMJ does, not at any sort of high level but I've trained and done some sparring in gyms around south London and It hasn't made getting punched in the face any more pleasurable. What's wrong with avoiding it? As I said before Lara RUNS, I was cringing after the 2nd round with canelo.
Just to be clear I'm a big fan of single punch knockdowns or great combo's etc, and floyd in the twilight of his career has become more defensive as he moved up in weight, so what??
For example I'm a big fan of lomachenko. but apart from Elite fighters low level wars are fun to watch but I don't really pay much attention, it's a brawl, cool beans.

Are you saying because I enjoy the tactical aspects of boxing more than two guys in a invisible phone box punching each other's lights out I should watch running instead??
