I'm sure everone has heard that Eubank Jnr wants to give his British Title belt to Nick Blackwell as a gesture of sorts.

Question is, is the belt even his to give. Do you not have to defend the belt 3 times (once against a mandatory) to own the belt outright?

If Blackwell takes the belt, would Eubank have to pay to have a new belt made so he can defend it on June 25th. I've heard that the Lonsdale belt is quite an expensive one.

Slightly confused? Can anyone help shed any light.

Its not his to give until hes won it 3x with a mandatory in there.
Its just more media coverage as far as cej is concerned.

Have to defend it 3 times with 1 mandatory as stated above if he didn't win it out right for some reason and did not return it to BBBC he would end up getting his licence revoked untill it was returned
