Lara recently called out Canelo for a rematch after his win over Martirsyran.

Anyone here think Canelo will accept a rematch with Lara?

or would Golden Boy steer him away from Lara?

Lara was lucky to get one fight against Canelo - he can't call for a rematch after getting a close decision over Vanes fvcking Martosyan.

He's a good fighter but when you have no fans and dubious wins over Vanes and Molina, you can't walk into a big fight.

The fight with Molina was a draw...but still a robbery in favor of Lara

You can't walk into a gym without tripping over a "champion" with the proliferation of titles. Lara can't walk into a big fight after having close fights with B-level guys (and being boring in the process).

Lara absolutely stunk it out vs Canelo in the first fight - he'll never get a rematch. Being with Haymon makes it even more difficult.

Best he can hope for is the Charlo's or even danny jacobs if he's willing to go to MW. I don't see what Jacobs has to gain by fighting Lara though - he has much more lucrative options.

Might pick up some PPV buys from people that like high-level boxing, it would be a safer call then another stupid mismatch

    No
Canelo hasn't really made any improvements necessary to make it a competitive fight.

The fight was boring because Canelo lacked the skills to make the fight competitive.

Hell no. Not unless they make the ring twice as small, so Lara actually has to show up and fight.

If it wasn't for the Mexican people calling Canelo a coward after Lara called him out when Canelo dismissed him as a nobody we wouldn't have got to see the first fight.

I prefer boxers over punchers but geez Lara moved so much it was painful to watch.

No, Lara turned what was supposed to be a big PPV event into a marathon

117-111 Canelo was the correct score
