Boxing is seriously awful and it's never going to change. It wasn't just the fact that a fight between a LHW and a blown up Jr Middleweight was sanctioned... at a catchweight... for the lineal title, but did you see Glen Trowbridge's score in the fight???? WTF??????? How could you possibly have had Canelo ahead, let alone dominating? Jesus. That is a disgrace.

I actually think Ward/ Kovalev may be the last boxing match I ever watch. The spirit of the sport is dead for me.

The Wade fight was not Golovkin's fauld............the original mandatory pulled out, was injured, so Wade was picked to fill the mandatory spot. Next, Golovkin will fight Jacobs, if Jacobs will not fight him he will fight Saunders for a fourth title..................Golovkin also wants Alvarez and Quillin, but don't hold your breath............

It's was a good fight and two of the score cards were correct.

I'm not sure how anyone had Khan winning

You're missing the point. GGG has 3/4 belts. His goal is to unify the belts. If he didn't fight Wade he would get stripped. He is ready and willing to fight Canelo but he ducked and dropped the belt. So now he is going after the 4th belt. If not, then he is fighting either a mandatory in Jacobs or another big fight.

Well, you fight your mandatories or you lose your belts. That's a reality that Pollo Rojo struggled with for some time.

Now we have scrubs responding to this thread more than 24 hrs later. Wade was no mandatory, GGG was his very first 12 round fight and he lost to Solomon.

The Mayweather-Berto PPV farce was pretty dismal.

And yet the IBF would have stripped Golovkin had he not faced Wade.
    Thats boxing for you.

    Isn't Wade a Haymon fighter?

That's a cop out. Khan was/should have been winning on points alone. That doesn't mean he would have won the fight because he was obviously going to get ktfo, eventually. But till that happened, the cards should have been legit and shown that he was up on points. Since they were not, this means the whole fight was rigged before it even started. Khan had no hope not only due to his glassness but on the cards if he somehow managed to survive a beheading.
