This fight makes no sense. Mcgregor doesn't have a chance in hell in beating Floyd. Unless they change the rules to make the fight more even. I wouldn't pay PPV to see it. If Floyd is going to fight a 50th time, it should be against someone who's going to be at least a bit competitive.
I hear you. this fight is just silly imo, its for a totally different audience then usual boxing fans,,, I hope, lol Conor could not beat any top 20 boxer at welterweight, let alone Floyd. Conor seems to have lost touch with reality a bit imo, unless he is just into the money and then why not. Personally I wouldn't want to jump into the boxing ring with one of the best ever out of the gate. If I was serious about boxing I would want to work and earn my way up the ladder just like all boxers have to.
Would it even count as Floyd's 50th fight anyway? Who's going to sanction it? Surely it would be held as an exhibition bout instead of an official one. My best guess is it's all PR. Folks are talking about Floyd and Conor, which is good for both.
Nate Diaz just beat Conor STANDING. Shouldn't Diaz get the shot at Floyd over Conor anyway. It's all nonsense anyway.
