According to ratings for the event, Golovkin-Wade(unknown fighter) had 1,325,000 viewers on HBO with a peak of 1.388 million viewers.

“We’ve sold over 8,000 tickets in just the first week of being on sale,” said Tom Loeffler, Managing Director of K2 Promotions. “This is the best pairing in boxing and fans have seen how fast tickets moved at our past shows in Los Angeles and New York City and don’t want to take a chance on missing out.”

Wembley Arena capacity: 12.500, that was the venue, no idea on the numbers

Purse bid was something like 220k pounds, so not big pay packets, but it was for a british title not a world title and it was a mismatch.

That purse bid was quite decent for a british title

It really doesn't matter what the fans think is "fair". It matters whether their respective teams can come to an agreement that they find acceptable.

Who's to say what is and is not fair?
