    Congratulations to Ricky Burns. 3 weight world champion, hope he can get some money back behind, deserves it, never ducked anyone and the list of fighters he has been in with is great, Arthur, Mitchell, Figueroa, Crawford, katsidis, Gomez, Martinez, Beltran etc.

    True warrior puts the circus acts we had last weekend to shame....

    Yes bit of an easy win for a title by if anyone deserves it its him. He's put the graft in deserves some breaks

    Faultless performance by Ricky. Of course he's a paper champ. But give him some credit. Very few people thought he'd be so dominant. So chuffed for him. One of the nicest guys in the sport - and not a bad fighter either. Watched it in the pub and everyone was over the moon.

    Wish I could've been there. Was planning on going with my mate but he couldn't go for personal reasons. Sold my ticket. The atmosphere seemed absolutely electric.

    Great night and what an atmosphere! never felt anything like it and Flower of Scotland was amazing! lost my voice when Ricky knocked him down in the 8th but well worth it.

    A great performance by Burns, controlled the fight with the jab. A fantastic win, although i can think of one promoter who will not be feeling the happiness :fire
