you mean giving up the title to GGG after you invited him into the ring and said you wans't scared?

    No that's not a duck, that's being a coward.

Canelo is just as big.he cuts weight better because he's younger. And I don't care about the belt...just that they fight

In your view, when Cotto didn't pay the sanctioning fees for the Canelo fight, was that a cowardly move by Cotto?

No. Win or lose cotto could not credibly continue as a middleweight without continuing to give up massive size advantages so why bother since he could make big fights at sww. Cotto is not a middleweight and can still make 154 with ease and 147 fairly easily.

Canelo is a middleweight. Do you really believe there is any chance canelo can make 154 in a year or two? His 154 days essentially are over. Next step up is 160.

Cotto still fought canelo, so how would it be a duck or a cowardly move? Yes cotto did drain geale but canelo made AMIR KHAN(glass chin, sh**ty boxing fundamentals, no power, low ring iq) to 155 to defend his MIDDLEWEIGHT BELT.. How is that any way worst than draining geale? Stupid boy

the most golovkin ever weighed on fight night was 173. The most canelo ever weighed was 174.. They're the same size.

Because Cotto did the same thing that Canelo is being criticized for now. Cotto vacated the belt before fighting Canelo. (after being told by the WBC that the winner is mandated to fight GG)

I know, like you say, Canelo fighting Khan at 155 is NOT worse than Cotto draining Geale. Draining Geale, a MW, making him unhealthy was way worse than Khan moving up 8 lbs to fight Canelo at 155.

Canelo didn’t make Amir Khan fight at 155. Khan wanted the fight, was motivated to move up 8 lbs and fight Canelo and wouldn’t have agreed to anything above 155. 8 lbs really isn’t that much of a jump.

What I’m getting at is that Cotto did a lot of the same stuff Canelo is being criticized for now, and some stuff worse than anything Canelo’s done (like draining an actual MW). How is Canelo vacating the belt after fighting Khan any worse than Cotto vacating the belt before fighting Canelo?

Cotto was stripped because he didn't want to pay sanctioning fees, he didn't vacate his belt to avoid fighting canelo like canelo did with golovkin. And a drained middleweight is a much better win than a blown up welterweight who's known for not being able to take a good punch. I can't believe you're even debating this.

Not the same thing, Cotto made the fight happenned. He was striped days before the fights for not paying sanctioning fees that he tought he already paid. Canelo gave up the belt to avoid GGG. Hell Canelo didnt even waited to be stripped. He willingly gave it up and put it around GGG's waist. Like he said: He dont fu#$ around.
